College Admissions Visits this week!
COMMUNITY SERVICE
The library wants to give you community hours as you read! Yes, you are hearing that correctly. We want to promote reading! How do you do that? 1. Check a book out 2. Read the book 3. Record the time it took you to read the book 4. Write a brief summary of the book 5. Send the summary to Mrs. Schwartz. Mrs. Schwartz will then make it Book of the Week for the school! You will receive Community Service hours for both the time it took you to read the book and for the time it took you to write the summary! This means you can get Community Service hours for reading and telling others about the book! The Library is open 7:30 to 2:15. See Mrs. Schwartz or Mrs. Gove in the library for more information.
Seniors!! One month down and going strong! See your School Counselor to set up a senior meeting! Be sure to keep track of the calendar provided in your senior folder!

Students interested in after-school Theatre activities during this school year are encouraged to introduce themselves to Ms. Toole in person or by email. Hermon High School typically produces 3 shows a year in addition to a variety of activities such as field trips and conferences. Although the program will look different this year, we are still inviting new students to join us and learn about what we do. You do not have to be experienced in Theatre--people join for a variety of reasons, including to improve their presenting and public speaking skills, gain confidence, and make new friends. Contact Ms. Toole today for additional information.
The Library Media Center is accepting volunteers for Community Service hours.
Students will be asked to help with various administrative and some cleaning tasks.
We can take one student per block.
If interested, please come see Ms. Schwartz and Mrs. Gove.
