Hermon High School Counselors Leslie Smith, Michelle Walsh, and Lynsie Doherty supported an eager group of senior students at a recent Common App Workshop held in the school’s media center. The workshop was designed to provide seniors with step-by-step support in completing their college application on the Common Application. As Counselor Smith noted, “Getting started on the Common Application now means that you’ll be nearly 80% finished by the time we meet in the fall. That means you can focus on identifying and applying for scholarships.”
In addition to getting a head start on the college application process, students had a chance to welcome our newest counselor Lynsie Doherty. Ms. Doherty is a National Board Certified School Counselor and we’re thrilled that she’ll be working with our students and staff.
