The Hermon School Committee invites one junior and one senior to serve as a member of its board. That student becomes a member of the Hermon School Committee for two years. The student representatives in turn report to the board on activities in the school. They are invited to participate in School Committee discussions, although they have no authority to vote. Distance Learning in Chemistry. Who knew chemistry would be so much fun when you get to bake cupcakes!
Students in Mrs. Fusco's chemistry classes were given 3 different recipes to choose from to create their own "cupcake in a mug." The catch is that the recipes were written in terms of weight! So students had to practice their unit conversion skills to get to the correct English measuring units we are used to using. The results look great and tasty!! Great work!!

NEW Information on distance learning. This memo will be mailed home.

Dear Class of 2020,
As you may know, our Governor's recent Stay-at-Home Order extends school closures to May 4th, 2020. With this guidance, we will need to postpone our May 2nd prom.
We are sorry to bring you this news at such a challenging time for us all, but know that we are doing all that we can to make up for the lost time of your senior year and to bring you the special events you have been looking forward to. Above all else, we are in this together as a class, staff, and administration and will be stronger for it.
We are working hard to reschedule our prom for a later date that will ensure the safety and health of all students and staff. Your well-being is our number one priority at this time.
Please stay connected through email, the class of 2020 Google Classroom, and the class of 2020 Instagram page.
We are here for you all during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Biehn or Mrs. Garbe regarding questions about Senior activities.
