|What is Parent Council?|
Hermon High School Parent Council is a group of parents and educators who meet monthly to discuss issues relevant to high school parents and their students. Our goal is to provide clear and open communication and dialogue on topics pertinent to our students, parents, and community.
Parent Council co-chairs, Lesley Snyer and Kristen Shorey, along with principal, Brian Walsh facilitate meetings.
Parent Council sponsors the annual Welcome Supper for all new students and parents, plans relevant programming for parents and students, and provides volunteers for committees and additional activities as needed.
There are no dues to join and attendance is not mandatory. All parents/guardians of current HHS students are invited to attend.
Meetings for the 2019 - 2020 school year are at 6:30pm on the following Wednesdays in room 167 at Hermon High School:
September 18 October 16 November 20 January 15
February 26 March 18 April 15 May 19 (Tuesday)
